    Awesome camera & straight forward to use
    Bought this camera, to protect myself, in case I’m ever involved in an accident, whilst I’m out on the roads.First thing that impressed me, was how much is included for the price – full HD camera, 2x mounts (suction cup & sticky pad), car power adaptor & also a USB wire… all for just £40!It’s simple to use, you just plug the USB end of the power adaptor into the camera, then the bulkier end into your car’s cigarette lighter port, and it will turn on & start recording automatically (your car’s ignition will likely need to be on, in order for the port to be powered).I then used the sticky mount adaptor (I find these more robust, than suction cup), and pressed it firmly into my windscreen, high up & just to the left of the rear-view mirror, then slotted the camera into the mount.Some specs on the dash cam’s video recording;- Resolution = Full HD, 1920 x 1080 p- Bitrate = around 25,000 kbps- Audio Bitrate = 256 kbpsAll in all, this makes for a clear recording, with good quality pictures.I’m particularly impressed by how high the audio bitrate is, which makes hearing sounds, voices, etc very clear – past dash cams I’ve owned have had very low bit rates, which resulted in very muffled audio.

    Nice and easy to navigate around the menu. I installed a 32gig card and transfer it to my laptop to review any footage I need to see. Works well, clear image. I have not tried the suction cup as I used the permanent fix which seems to be holding firm. The wide angle takes in all the road and pavements so once you have it in position you will capture all you need to see. I have not tried it at night as yet, so am unable to comment, but it is a great bit of kit for the price that I would recommend.***UPDATE*** After 2 days use the dash cam has decided to fail to power up. I have discovered the car cable is faulty. I have sent a message to the seller and so far had no response. Amazon are no help to replace the cable.***UPDATE*** seller supplied a new cable and has been working fine. One comment I feel worth adding though, is that the camera works itself loose from its fixing whilst driving, which is very annoying having to continuously re-mount it.

    Better then my old nextbase camera
    I had my previous dash cam hardwired into my car ,and when it stopped working ,I wanted a dash cam that would fit into that wiring. I didn’t want the electric leads hanging down everywhere. The same camera that I previously had was over £90 to buy and this camera was less than £30. To be honest I wasn’t sure if you’d be any good ,but I thought for the price I will give it a go ,and if it isn’t any good ,I will buy a better camera and have that one at the front of my car and this one at the back. How wrong was I !!! It’s better than my previous dash cam ,has a lot more functions on it and it’s so easy to use it’s unbelievable. But the only problem I had was getting the Sim card to match with the camera. The picture quality is so clear .I like the fact it’s got a parking mode function ,so even if the camera is off and someone hit your car it automatically starts to record .I also like the fact he’s got a function where the screen turns off while driving but it’s still records so it doesn’t distract you and saves energy . if you do have an accident you can take it off the fitting bracket and use it as an actual camera and take photos with it as well In fact it’s so good I have just brought another one for the back of my car.I really recommend this camera!!!!

    Good product for it’s price.
    You get what you pay for. Decent product, and did the job. I only used this whenever I travelled overseas and hired a car, therefore I needed something quick to set up and record in case anything was to happen.

    Overall happy with this dash cam as it was much needed cause seems these days drivers are getting worse not better.Super easy to install done so without any issues does immediately power on when car starts and we’ll as much as picture/video quality could be better it does the job and information such as license plates can easily be read maybe not on the small screen but when you view on computers it’s there for use.Night time footage recording this is where it could be a lot better hence the removal of one star now this is solely because if something happened depending on lighting in the surrounding area information may not be clearly recorded but the footage alone would be a help still regardless.All in all for the price point this is a solid little camera and does provide that extra bit insurance when out on the round to keep you covered in the event of an accident.Highly recommend cause well you’d rather be safe then sorry when it comes to this type of thing.

    This camera is easy to install. Performs as expected with great recording quality. Play back is easy and helpful. Got great footage of a wreck my daughter was in and provided great visibility of what happened. Will get one for every vehicle we drive.

    Good value if you just want a dash cam with out all the expensive extras. Records as described. Once you memorize the instructions, they are fairly basic. I opted for the mirror mount and still have a small bit of it falling off the mount since it just slides in a small tab with any way to lock it in place. The lets the camera vibrate a bit but not enough to compromise the video if you need it for court. Would recommend & I like it for its basic use/program. Bought it just to prove who caused the accident!Keep in mind if spouse reviews video, they will know where you went & how you race the vehicle (yikes).

    J’ai testé ce produit qui enregistre bien mais il a du mal à tenir sur le pare-brise surtout quand il est froid. Donc compliqué à le fixer.
