Great little stereo ð
Great little stereo and a bargain price, as others have said it does look a little plasticity and cheap in the daylight but that’s cos it is ð¤·ð»ââï¸The blue LED is quite bright but it in my opinion it doesn’t distract you at night as some others have said on here and I actually like it. I fitted mine into a VW Golf Mk 4 and it fitted perfectly into the existing cage, on my car it was a simple plug and play as the existing cables fit the slots without the need for an adapter and the ariel adapter provided allowed me to connect the radio.Everything works as it should and the sound quality is really good and surprisingly loud but obviously this will depend somewhat on your own speakers.Overall very impressed as really didn’t expect much for the price but does everything I need it to and no additional parts were required, so for me it was a bargain.Removal tools, Ariel connector, remote control and spare wires included which considering its price was pretty impressive as many well known branded expensive ones don’t include these.Glad I took a chance on this and for the sake of a few pounds definitely worth a try as can always return it if you don’t like it once fitted.Note: Remove all the plastic covering before fitting as it doesn’t tell you that in the manual and is required in order to fit.

Performance that exceeds expectations
This was very cheap, loaded with features that kept me more than happy, and worked reliably. So long as you’re not expecting Bang & Olufsen, you really can’t go wrong.

Worth every penny
About 2000 of them, which is not much at all!Bought my mini cooper in summer 2019, car stereo inside never worked and i never got round to getting a new one, but the car went through her MOT yesterday so i thought i would treat her to a new stereo, so i ripped the old sony out and ordered this one.Arrived super fast, cheers =)Such a doddle to install, i removed the sony, and the sony adaptor and plugged the rest right into the back of this unit. Bingo, i turned the key and it came on right away, piece of cake, even for a blonde! So how does it sound? Alright if i am honest, you need to find the right EQ setting to suit your taste, and if you want a bit more oomph, then press and hold the EQ for the LOUDNESS setting to be applied, this really makes the bass kick, and makes the music sound incredibly nice, quite impressed with it actually. But it does look cheap doesn’t it? Yes, thats probably because… erm, it is cheap! For a little over 20 quid, your not going to get something solidly built, this thing feels so loose, the buttons feel springy and loose, it does feel like it will break in a few months time, granted, but we will see, i cannot see why it should not last me long enough to get that mini cooper coupe i am saving up for this year, so for now this stereo will do.Any negatives, yes, the cage itself which the head unit slips into for security, is not really offering much in the way of security, and my TF card will not stay in the TF card slot on the unit, i have more then one brand of TF card, and none will stay in place. So there are faults, but to me they are very minor but worth knocking one star off, otherwise its alright. So, in summary, easy to install, nice clear sound when the correct settings are used, but it does feel like a piece of cr@p and to be honest, it wont win any prizes for its looks either, but who cares, it is cheap and i can bluetooth my music from my phone now, so that a win for me!

Very annoying radio.
I bought it for car that was off road for some time and 30 days passed when I could not really test it.Otherwise I would return it for sure. For first, the display – it half of it displays constantly flashing shapes – who invented this ? This is completely ridiculous! Distracting, annoying, useless! – whoever designed this, shouldn’t try to design anything anymore.Secondly – the lies on the box – on the front of box we see sign: Dual Phone ConnectionThis is lie !!! There is no such of feature here. Only one phone can be connected to that radio in the same time. So if you want to use loud speaker to pick calls from your mobile, while your child is playing spotify – forget about it or buy something else.Only one device a time!Third thing is fitting – the frame is made of soft metal and cannot be fixed in place – it’s always loose – whatever you do it will always be wobbly and not fixed in place.Worst thing is that when you want to connect USB cable or dongle – force needed to push it in is enough to push the whole unit into the frame deeper then it should be. Total disaster.Radio function is mostly alright, I had one issue that it was jumping from station to station on any weakness of the signal – could not find out what to do, but disconnecting from power helped.Remote Control is USELESS and it’s not only the thing it’s for LHD cars while in the UK we have RHD. The band that is used as attachment to steering wheel is a joke. Again … you try to press the button on remote and the whole remote starts to spin around the wheels handle. Simply the fitting band has not enough friction, so it happens.Bluetooth calls – because of stupid useless display where most of space is taken by flashing annoying lights – you’re never sure who is calling you. There is just number on the display, but it’s not visible very well and actually it’s difficult to recognize it while driving. For me – solution was the smart watch – which was displaying the calling persons name from the phone book.Unfortunately, this doesn’t work other way round. When you want to call someone while driving – you have to stop the car and use the phone, because with that radio selecting the number is simply impossible. And this is because of both – poor remote + and terrible display.About sound quality – it’s not dramatic, but whatever you do it always feel flat a bit.Summarising – the radio is a piece of rubbish which is just waste of resources. It could be much better being still cheap. It is designed to be crap for purpose or just designers are retarded.I wish I never buy it.
