   Outstanding value. Fantastic sound quality
   Replaced a factory installed Becker radio in my Mercedes SLK with the Pioneer. I was surprised that there was a substantial improvement in the sound quality, and the Pioneer is really powerful. Also having a solid and central place to mount my phone Was an added bonus.This is the only radio I know of that offers such integration with a smart phone and offers features of a double din in a single din format. The app really does enhance the features of the radio and lets you do things that would be near impossible on a normal single din unit.The app is brilliant and the latest version irons out a lot of the early issues. This is possibly the best radio I have installed over the past 30 years, and Ive installed over 30 car radios over the years. The Pioneer gives a nice rich, thick sound which I prefer with plenty of low end (bass). There are also loads of settings to tune the sound to your liking.(Technical part…). Without an additional amplifier the radio will work best with your factory installed speakers. Installing high wattage speakers will be harder to drive so may degrade the sound, if you have a thin sound that’s why. High power speakers have more powerful magnets and Beefed up Suspension which are harder to move. So this prevents the speaker from performing as intended when driven with sub optimal power. Of course adding an amplifier that is matched to your speaker output will fix this and it will result in a louder, tighter sound. It’s the same as lifting weights, for a small guy to do his workout properly he requires lighter weights however a stronger person can lift more weights for the same routine. In this scenario the weight lifter is the amplifier and the weights the speaker. The smaller guy could lift the larger weights but would struggle. This is a very basic explanation but so many people are confused about this. Moral of the story…match your speakers to the output of your amplifier as best as possible and look for high efficiency speakers. People always rip on the factory installed speakers with paper cones and tiny magnets, however they’ve been matched to the radio output. Also although paper cones are more subject to wear it’s a perfect material for speaker cones. Some of the best speakers use paper cones.In conclusion. (sorry that was a rant) the Pioneer is great. I have not experienced any of the negative issues mentioned with the software yet and at this price point it’s stonking good value. I’m surprised this has not been sold as Pioneers high end unit with a much higher price tag.

   I bought this for my wife for Christmas as her old radio was fm only. It was easier than I thought to install, instructions were well laid out.The sound is impressive and build quality is high. Happy with the buy

   Decent cheap head unit
   It’s a good head unit. I brought this to replace the oem business head unit as it only had Bluetooth call operations and not audioThis whole set up was done on a budget and I’m very impressed with the unit, would be nice for pioneer to add Magcharge to the holder for it.Sound quality is of pioneer standard and very good, much better than the oem unit,

   Worth every penny if you have a mobile with a good screen
   Worth every penny if you have a mobile with a good screen, no need to spend over £300 for a stereo with a crap screen, this one does the job brilliantly.You can have music playing and the sat nav running at the same time with no issues, sat nav apps supported so far are Google Maps and Waze.I cannot say much about sound quality as my speakers are very basic.I saw a lot of negative reviews about the app but so far I’ve found it quite good, a bit counter intuitive to get yourself around it when on your first contact but the features are there and everything works well.Can take up to almost a minute to sync with the phone when you power on but no more than that so far and most times took only a few seconds to pair.I do have to mention that it almost did not fit my Ford KA 2015, it is a full size unit and I had to really push it in multiple times to get it to lock in place but it did lock in the end.Very glad with this product.

   Another sleek design from Pioneer a head unit you can trust…..
   Well my 2008 motorhome came with a state of the art (at that time) Pioneer with flip out screen, now move on 12 years and the new (to us) kid on the block Pioneer Sph-10bt a revolution in design and sounds as good as our old unit, but I would say better. This bluetooth enabled sleek in its design, to look at in off mode it hides its secret feature……a fold out mobile phone holder (cradle) and its amazing Pioneer Sync App that transform your mobile into the Pioneer display well who had thought of that….Pioneer did and its amazing and simplistic in every way all your favourite music apps played seamlessly through the Pioneer.Fitting to you vehicle of choice (single din) either DIY or Radio Fitter is fairly simple, instructions could be better but now I have a 21st century device to play through cab or living space speakers……now looking forward to my next adventure with all my music on this brilliant device if your thinking of getting it go for it, see the YT videos for reviews or fitting another 12+ years before another one i think…..

   Not bad idea but user interface and app let it down.
   Pretty simple to install sound quality was clearly better but the user interface and app are not stable. Mine eventually failed completely.

   Cool piece of kit
   Superb sound and overall build quality, very easy to install, and pair with phone. Save yourself an entire afternoon and remember to plug the microphone cable in to the back of the HU before installing in to the dash…Only criticism would be the removal keys that came in the box are horrific and will rip your fingers open when handling them – use two kitchen knives and save your skin!Also, not sure why I’m being asked to review/ give a star rating to a North Kent port town?! Hence the 1-star on that. But overall, as a headunit – very cool concept and execution, would highly recommend.

    Una buena opción para coches antiguos donde no hay sitio para dejar el móvil. Con esta radio ya tienes un soporte fiable y encima puedes aprovechar las APP del móvil (música, mapas, radares..)El sonido es potente y claro y tiene mil opciones de ecualización.Para ser perfecta debería llevar cargador inalámbrico en el soporte y entrada de cámara trasera para que al poner la marcha atrás en el coche se viera en el móvil la imagen de la cámara.
